I'm Mercedes — a modern impressionist painter telling stories through colour and movement.

Mercedes is a Perth, Western Australian based artist who grew up in the small town of Port Hedland. Having spent her life at a slower pace with not much to do she immersed herself in the world of creativity. Sewing, painting, drama, pastels, any creative adventure she took hold of.

For years she painted in her room, listening to worship music and never really showing people into her world. This year after taking some time off from her day Job as a Veterinary nurse she felt the call to take her artwork out of hiding and show it to the world.

Mercedes Enjoys creating impressionistic artwork that makes you feel something when you look at it. Brush strokes that tell the story of movement and help create a space or home. Her passion is creating artwork with meaning but also works you could stare at for hours and still have the same feeling as when you first saw it.
